Description
We are seeking compassionate, resilient, and dedicated individuals to join our team as Residential Support Workers. In this role, you will provide high-quality daily care and support to young people within a residential setting, helping them feel safe, valued, and empowered to achieve positive outcomes.
You will build strong, trusting relationships with young people, promote their emotional wellbeing, and encourage active engagement in education, life skills development, and recreational activities. Working as part of a supportive team, you will implement individual care plans, support young people to achieve their personal goals, and manage challenging behaviour in a safe and therapeutic manner. Accurate record-keeping and maintaining clear communication with colleagues and professionals will form an essential part of your responsibilities.
This role requires flexibility, as shift work will include evenings, weekends, and potentially sleep-ins. The ability to remain calm under pressure, demonstrate empathy, and maintain professional boundaries is essential.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children in a residential home (required)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient, and emotionally resilient approach
Valid UK work authorisation (required)
Valid UK driving licence
Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to London IG11 8BB
Willingness to travel (up to 25%)
Full training and ongoing professional development will be provided to support your growth within the role.
